Overview
The fantasy story of Akio is produced in the South West of England by a small company of three friends. The first sketches and drafts were put on paper in 2017. Since then our artist has produced the first 168 page book, Suigin Valley and is currently working on the second.

Development
Predominantly Akio is a graphic novel with a strong influence from Japanese manga. However the use of other mediums such as video games are also used to breathe life into Akio’s world of warring kingdoms and spiritual balance.
The current focus is on creating an entertaining story foundation. In the future, with more resources, we aim for the project to grow into an animated television series with accompanying story-driven video games.
Synopsis
The age of the Martial Arts is coming to an end. The darkness of the shade has engulfed the land of Dalos, smothering the light of the spirit.
Akio is the youngest surviving member of the legendary Dragon Clan. The clan, among many other Martial Arts clans, were once revered by the peoples of Dalos and beyond. Now they are but a shadow of their former glory. Destroyed, scattered and suppressed by the Imperial Monarchies, who now engage in perpetual warfare between each other unchecked.
Follow Akio on his quest through the chaotic, dark and war-ridden land of Dalos to re-unite his family. This quest will lead him to discover the truth behind the destruction of the Martial Arts Clans, the profusion of the shade and the dwindling of the Spirit.
